Henk Jongman was my father, born in Holland in 1930. He began working as a graphical designer and emigrated to Canada with his wife and two daughters in the 1960's and took a position at the University of Toronto. He had a third daughter born in Canada (that was myself) and eventually relocated back to Europe.  He made wonderful and exquisite abstract oil paintings from his Amsterdam studio up until the early 1990's.  And died peacefully in 2023.
